Contemporary classical concert pianist, Adam Tendler, will perform “Inheritances”, an evening of commissioned works including Pamela Z’s “Thank You So Much” as part of an Other Minds special event at Brava for Women in the Arts at 7:30pm in San Francisco, CA
In 2022, after the unexpected death of his father, Tendler used his inheritance to commission new works for an intimate program called Inheritances.He commissioned composers Devonté Hynes, Nico Muhly, Laurie Anderson, inti figgis-vizueta, Pamela Z, Ted Hearne, Angélica Negrón, Christopher Cerrone, Marcos Balter, Missy Mazzoli, Darian Donovan Thomas, Sarah Kirkland Snider, Scott Wollschleger, Mary Prescott, Timo Andres, and John Glover to compose these works. He will perform the entire suite of works on this program at Brava Theater.
