Pamela Z’s multimedia chamber work SIMULTANEOUS

Pamela Z’s Simultaneous at Space 124 in San Francisco USA Pamela Z presents “Simultaneous”, an intermedia performance work exploring the concept of simultaneity, through voice, electronic processing, chamber ensemble (English horn, viola, cello, and percussion), speech samples, gesture control, and projected video. This work is the culmination Z’s Rome Prize project which began in 2019, has had iterations in the forms of a multi-channel sound installation and a fixed media radio work, but stopped short of being presented as a performance work, because of the pandemic’s interruption of her fellowship year. Now, the work will reach its fruition with the full evening performance work that was originally proposed. Performances will take place on the 9th, 10th, and 11th of December 2022 in Space 124 at Project Artaud, in San Francisco.
